2017 Activities

CL FIRES Yard Sale


CL FIRES will be holding a Yard Sale on Saturday August 19 2017 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Base Camp Lower parking lot. Your generous donations have assisted CLVFD and CL FIRES for many years!  We appreciate our friends and neighbors who support this effort.  Please bring all donations for the yard sale on Saturday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The CL FIRES website will also be updated with timely information about the Yard Sale. Please email director@clfires.org with questions or donation information. 


Crystal Lakes Volunteer Fire Department Independence Day Family Fun Day and Parade Celebrated on Sunday July 2, 2017



Everyone mark your calendars for the Crystal Lakes Volunteer Fire Department’s annual Independence Day FAMILY FUN DAY and PARADE for Sunday, July 2, 2017 9am – 3pm.


Food   There will be a hamburger, brat and hot dog lunch served in the Community Center 11am until 3 pm.  Food compliments of the CLVFD in appreciation of the Crystal Lakes Community’s support.  Tickets will be provided per person per meal; additional meals may be purchased for a minimal charge. 


Games and Activities  All the fun will be in the Crystal Lakes Community Center and front parking area between 9am-3pm.  Sign up for the Crystal Lakes Mountain Golf Tournament for kids and adults 9am until 12pm. Bid on Silent Auction items from 9am until 2pm.  Check out the games for kids of all ages from 1pm until 2:30 pm. There will be a Cake Walk and information tables for Fire and Safety.  Please let Jeanette Williams 970 881-3612 or rayjenwil@peoplepc.com know if you could donate a cake for the Cake Walk. 


AM CLVFD Tour de’ Fun Parade The Fire Department will again have their vehicle parade along North and South Ottawa Way around Panhandle Lake to celebrate this national holiday at 9:30 am, property owners may join them.  Line-up will be at the Fire Station at 9:15am. 


CLVFD Parade   The CLVFD equipment and community parade will start at 12:00 p.m. with prizes.  Parade line up will be at 11:30 am at the Fire Station.  Each year there are several parade entries including marchers, tractors, cars, ATV’s and even musicians.


CLVFD   The Fire Department will offer the opportunity for the community to take family and kids pictures with a decorated fire truck and firefighter equipment.  The CLVFD will have special fire department interactive games for kids.  They will also have an information table about the Department and the Fire Station Remodel efforts.
